As 2025 draws toward its close, it’s worth pausing for a moment to recognize what you’ve made possible. This has not been an easy year to lead, serve, or show up for mission-driven work. The political climate has been noisy, unpredictable, and at times discouraging. But even in this political environment, nonprofits have continued to do what they do best: meet real needs, build trust, and keep communities moving forward.
You Deserve Recognition
Because of your work, programs didn’t stall. Boards stayed engaged. Staff and volunteers kept going even when the path forward felt unclear. Missions moved forward. You adapted, advocated where it mattered, and found ways to keep your organizations grounded in values rather than headlines. That quiet persistence is no small thing, and it deserves recognition. I applaud you for all the good work you do.
My Work Is A Conversation
At Nonprofit Snapshot, my goal is to reflect the reality of this work: practical, nuanced, and shaped by people who are actually in it. As I plan future blog posts and upcoming episodes of the Nonprofit SnapCast podcast, I would love your input.
- What topics would be most helpful right now?
- What questions are you wrestling with as you look toward 2026?
- Are there nonprofit leaders, funders, researchers, or behind-the-scenes practitioners whose perspectives you’d like to hear featured on the podcast?
I invite you to reach out and help shape what comes next. Please share your questions and ideas on our Nonprofit Snapshot page on LinkedIn. Or connect with me directly on LinkedIn.
Again, as we move toward a new year, I hope you’ll take a moment to acknowledge what you’ve carried, protected, and advanced in 2025. Your work matters more than ever, and this community is stronger because you’re part of it. I look forward to continuing the conversation with you in the months ahead.
